About the Charlotte Economic Development Partnership
The Economic Development Partnership Investors General Luncheon Meeting is held on the 1st Thursday of each month at Noon. Luncheon meetings will feature a guest speaker and an update of issues covered at the Economic Development Partnership Board Meeting. The Enterprise Charlotte Economic Council, dba the Economic Development Partnership (EDP), is a 501(c)(6) established to provide a funding vehicle for businesses to invest in the long-term economic vitality of Charlotte County.
The EDP partners with the Charlotte County Economic Development Office in recruiting diversified, high impact industries to Charlotte County. The EDP raises private sector money to support the efforts of the Economic Development Office. A Board of Directors governs the EDP which meets on a monthly basis and is not subject to Florida Sunshine Laws.
The EDP’s goals this year focus on expanding economic development in Charlotte County and the region, bringing in site selectors and working with local, regional and state counterparts to advance measures that will encourage business growth.
